Source: The Register
An Oxford doctoral student has successfully used artificial intelligence tools to defeat energy supplier SSE in court. Lyle Hopkins turned to GPT-5.5 and Claude Fable for legal guidance after the company pursued him with debt collectors over an incorrect £1,091.01 electricity bill. On 17 July, a judge ruled in his favour and awarded him £1,087.88, including expenses and interest.
