Cybercriminals fear artificial intelligence tools could take away their work, according to researchers at cybersecurity firm Sophos. Sophos analysed chatter across dark web marketplaces, discussion boards and messaging apps. It found sellers offering AI-powered kits to automate malware coding, generate deepfakes for romance fraud, and build phishing scams. Some forum users expressed concern that automated tools will take work away from those who manually write malware scripts.
