In one case involving the abduction and murder of Gurdev Singh, whose body was dumped near Dayalpur village along a national highway, a technical team used digital surveillance to trace the suspects as they repeatedly changed hideouts. Another suspect involved in multiple offences was apprehended in Uttarakhand near the Indo-China border after evading capture for nearly three months. A third fugitive linked to a kidnapping and extortion case was caught after investigators spent several weeks analysing thousands of digital leads, mobile phone data, and online communications maintained through foreign internet networks. Police officials noted that these timely technical interventions helped prevent further criminal activity while significantly strengthening the district's crime detection capabilities.
